The Kerama Islands are located on the west side of Okinawa.
Introducing the new firefly glass "Kerama Marine," inspired by the beautiful ocean around the Kerama Islands.

Firefly glass is a glass bead with a hole in it that is made using a molding technique called burner work, just like glass beads.

Craftsmen melt each piece of colored glass and roll it onto an iron core. Then, after the molten glass becomes like syrup, they layer silver foil on top, using special techniques to create beautiful colors.
